PRICE OF SILVER IN LONDON

RISE TO 44D AN OUNCE Recd. 7 p.m. London, Sept. 25. The price of silver on the London bullion market has been raised from 25id to 44(1 per ounce. The Times’ city editor says the increase was not unexpected. It followed on the extension of the United States buying price of 51.111 cents per ounce on foreign as well as domesti-cally-mined silver.
