IT MAY BE FOR YEARS Recd. 12.58 a.m. Tokio, Sept. 25 General MacArthur, through his headquarters spokesman, said the occupation of Japan “might last for years.” He denied that he ever stated that the occupation forces should be withdrawn within six months.
