N.Z. TROOPS WARNED NOT TO TRAFFIC IN CIGARETTES

Recd. 6 p.m. Melbourne, Sept. 24 A warning against black market trad.ng in cigarettes will be given homeward bound New Zealand soldiers travelling on the liner Strathmore before the ship ties up at Prince's Pier to-morriw morning. Customs officers will watch the men as they disembark for a day's leave in Melbourne. Homegoing New Zealanders off the Strathaird a few weeks ago started a roaring black market trading in cigarettes and tobacco.
