FERTILISER APPEALS DELAYED

Wanganui District Council of Prim-J ary Production has been advised that the total allocations which fertiliser commit.cos have recommended for, 1945-46 are considerably in excess of the quantity set aside to meet appeals, stated the secretary, Mr. A. R. Donaldson. Until further information is available about the rock phosphate stock position it will be impossible to authorise fertiliser committees to notify applicants of decisions on their appeals, which must, in the meantime, be left in abeyance. As soon as possible the Primary Industries Controller will inform production councils when they may proceed to notify applicants and merchants of the results of the recent applications.
