FANCY DRESS BALL
Tawhero School presented an animated scene on Thursday night, the occasion being the annual fancy dress ball. Pages and pirates, elves and a very numerous assortment, of other fancy dresses combined to make a brilliant display of colour. Picturesque folk dances made up the programme, the dancing being enjoyed no less by the pupils than by the large gathering of adult onlookers.
