Mr. J. J. Scott, Wanganui, chairman of the Wellington District Industrial Manpower Appeal Committee, is an inmate of the Wanganui Public Hospital. Corporal W. Kruse, 2nd. N.Z.E.F., of Wanganui, has recently returned to New Zealand after four years’ service in the Middle East and Italy. He is a former champion oarsman of the Wanganui Union Boat Club, and a foundationed in despatches. He is the son of in Wanganui.

Captain L. F. Mather,- Wanganui, 2nd. N.Z.E.F., has returned to New Zealand after being overseas for five years. Captain Mather, was one of the famous Long Range Desert Patrols in Middle East, and was twuce mentioned despatches. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Mather. Auckland, formerly of Wanganui.
