The end of war in Europe will not. mean any substantial Change in Australia's 'munitions production programme, the Minister for munitions. Str Makin sa d to-day. Earlier. Australia sent certain types of ammunition to I he European theatre, but the output of these types has been gradually reduced to a minimum. Australia’s munitions projects have been lapcred off during the past 12 months. Substantial numbers of workers from war industries arc being transferred to other essential works.
