CHINESE CASUALTIES
MORE THAN THREE MILLIONS. Recd. 6.40 p.m. Chungking, April 25. The War Minister, General Chen Cheng, estimated that Chinese casualI ties, from the outbreak of war in July, 1937, until March, 1945, totalled 3 100,000. Discussing the present Japanese offensive aimed at Chihkiang, the Minister said the enemy would be halted.
