TECHNICAL-COLLEGIATE MEETING SEVEN RECORDS ESTABLISHED. Thev also set a new distance in throwing the cricket hall under 16. In the 100yds. under 14. Schoo! equalled the record. I Records established by Technical j College were in the long jump under !15 and under 1-1. They also set a new time in lhe 120yds. hurdles under 16. The final points of lhe meeting were: Collegiate School 271; Technical College 209. There were several close finishes in the different events, but. nothing better than in lhe 440 yards under 19, when a Collegiate runner in a desperate sprint, overhauled and beat, his friendly rival from the Technical College right on the post. Good organisation enabled the s'ports to be carriel through with a minimum of delay. A. loud speaker system kept the large crowd of spectators fully informed of events, as they were decided.
