The larger size is that, of a shilling; the smaller is the usual size of trouser button. Next Saturday, March 24. throughout New Zealand, Girl Guides, Scouts, and members of the Junior Red Cross will call at every home to make a collection, and Wanganui householders are asked to do their share and to [have ready for the collectors all suitable buttons they can spare. The collection of buttons will commence at 1.30 p.m., and householders who aie likely to be absent from home are invited to leave parcels of buttons on the front porch or at. the front gate.
