N.Z.’S RETURN TO GREECE
Recd. 1 a.m. London, Sept. 25. The New Zealand delegate to the U.N.N.R.A. Conference, Mr. C. A Berendsen, stressed the importance U.N.R.R.A.’s success as a first step in international collaboration, and also asked for a decentralisation set-up in the Central and South Pacific. He said New Zealanders hoped they would be among the first to enter Greece in relief operations, as they wished to repay the Greek people for their courage and aid so abundantly shown when New Zealand troop fought the enemy on Grecian soil.
