SEVERE ’QUAKE
Recd. 10 p.m. New York. Sept. 25. A very severe earthquake in the vicinity of Kamchatka Peninsula was reported bv Weston College (Massachusetts) Observatory. Officials said the tremors began at 8.24 a.m. on September 23 and lasted about 3t hours. The centre was placed 5355 miles from 'Boston.
