Miss Lois Scott, of Lyall Bay, Wellington, is visiting Mrs. L. Chisholm, King’s Avenue, Gonville. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Thompson, of Auckland, are visiting Wanganui. Mrs. I. C. Parker, "Adare," Kai Iwi, has returned home after spending three weeks’ holiday in Rotorua as the guest of Mrs. T. Kelly. Mrs. Douglas Wilson, Wicksteed Street, returned on Tuesday after a holiday in Christchurch. Miss Carol Jeffs arrived from To Awamutu early in the week on a visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Jeffs, Nelson Street. She leaves today on a visit to Wellington. Miss Jean Evans, Nelson Street, arrives home to-day after a holiday in the north. She visited Hamilton as the guest of Mrs. C. H. Paine ancJ spent a few days in New Plymouth. I Miss M. H. M. King has resigned' from the position of principal of the Otago Girls’ High School. Miss King has been principal for 23 years. Hei, resignation will take effect from January 31. 1945.
