POULTRY, PIGEON AND CAGE BIRD SHOW

WANGANUI EVENT SUCCESSFUL REVIVAL Nearly 800 entries were received for the annual show of the Wanganui Poultry, Pigeon and Cage Bird Asso- ' ciation, which opened in the home industries building on the Wanganui Racecourse yesterday afternoon. Exhibits were present from places as far distant as Auckland and Mcthven, and compared favourably with the last show staged in 1941. Classes in the poultry and pigeon sections were strong and the various judges were set difficult tasks, and the judging or some classes was not completed until late in the afternoon.
