M.U. CUP COMPETITION The fourth round of the Wanganui Indoor Bowling Association’s M.U. Cup competition was played this week with the following results: —Trinity (Tremain) 23, beat M.U. (Kirk) 19; Power Board (Hendra) 24, beat Aramoho Druids (Thomson) 9; M.U. (Threadgold) 23, beat Trinity (Mailman) 13; Trinity (Healey) 20, beat Power Board (Scott) 16; A.O.F. (Loader) 23, beat Cosmo. (Rogerson) 18; Cosmo. (McCracken) 20. beat Bishop (Glenny) 19; M.U. (G. Wilson) 27, beat Fire Brigade (Brown) 23. The result of the Bishop (Turkington) v. A.O.F. (Haworth) game will be published later. The draw for the fifth round is as follows:—Fire Brigade (Brown) v. A.O.F. (Haworth); Trinity (Mailman) v. Power Board (Scott); Aramoho Druids (Thomson) v. M.U. (Threadgold); M.U. (Wilson) v. Bishop (Glenny); Cosmo. (Rogerson) v. M.U. (Kirk); Cosmo. (McCracken) v. Bishop (Turkington); Trinity (Healey) v. Trinity (Tremain); A.O.F. (Loader) v. Power Board (Hendra). Skips of the various clubs are reminded that the Signal Challenge Shield is open for challenge. Challenges are to be sent to the secretary in writing. The present holder of the shield is J. Healey (M.U.).
