This was the chant of the Maoris at Spriggens Park on Saturday when their Rugby team (Wangaehu) was in the lead against City, which had several policemen playing in its team. After the match was over the referee, Mr. George Thrush, was surrounded hy a whole tribe of Maoris and a lot was said about a goal. As George did not signal for any help from us. we presume that he was able to convince the keen Wangaehu barrackers that it really was a goal and that City really had won.
