PATRIOTIC FUND
COLLECTION BY WANGANUI ROTARY CLUB In an effort to raise by direct giving the Wanganui quota of patriotic funds to the current All Purposes appeal, members of the Rotary Club recently undertook a systematic canvass of the city area, with a result that. £1538 10s was collected by the canvassers, and a further sum of £196 Is was paid into the patriotic office, PJdgwav Street, making a total of £1734 lis. In a letter Io the club the City Patriotic Committee has expressed its appreciation-of lhe effort.
