In two departments, fat sheep and fat cattle, prices showed a higher tendency at to-day's stock sale, when 6000 sheep and 300 cattip were yarded. Fat sheep were higher by a full 2s per head.

Run Cattle.—P.A. cows, passed at £5 10s; bullocks, passed at £8; steers, sold at £4 Is to £6 3s; heifers, to £4 Ils; Hereford cows, £3 2s. Dairy Cattle.—At higher prices, though comparisons are hard to make, because of quality, and the forward condition, or otherwise. Some pens of run cattle were sold, and some passed. •.al cattle were in strong demand, with some prinu'stuff on oiler. The range of sale prices is:— Fat. blackface, primest, 32s 7d; prime, to 31s lOd; good, to 30s Id. Fat lambs: Primest, 31s lOd; prime. 30s ?d; good, 27s 7d. Fat wethers: Springing cows, to £«1 10s; heifers to £l2 5.5. Fat Cattle.- P.A. bullocks, prime, to £12.7s Gd; heifers, prime, to £9 17s 6d; coloured bullock, £ll 7s Gd; R,P. cows, prime, £lO 7s Gd; ex-dairy cows, to £7 7s Gd; runners, £4 15s; vealers, £3 12 s 6d.
