He is chairman of the Soldiers’ Entertainment Committee. Tom Russell has taken a live interest in the advancement of the City from a tourist angle, and was the main advocator for the establishment of a Government Tourist Agency in Wanganui. This Agency has been functioning now for some time. He has also been a keen enthusiast for establishing a Wanganui Radio Station, and if returned on Saturday will continue •with this excellent project until it is achieved. He is chairman of the Tourist and Publicity Committee.
