BULLS TOWN BOARD

A SUCCESSFUL YEAR At the final meeting of the Bulls Town Board the treasurer reported the bank balances to be as follows: — General account, £390 3s 4d credit; Country accounts: Library account, £9 16s lid credit; Domain account, £4 4s 5d credit. The payments amounted to general account, £163 12s 7d and libiarj\ £9 4s. The present board goes out of olfice leaving the various accounts all in credit. The rates struck for the coming year are on the annual rateable as under: General Is 7d in the £1; lighting, sd: hospital, Is in the £1; libraiy, which is free to town residents, Id in the £; fotpaths loan, id in the £, and bridge loan, id. The highways were macadamised by the'boadd (luring its term out of revenue without raising a loan before the Public Works took them over.
