China is facing grave issues as the Japanese in cncity their threat to the Province of Honan. President Roosevelt has sent the Vice-President of the United States, Mr. Henry Wallace, to China and Hie Far East, to obtain full information. Moves are being made to unify Communist and Kuomintang elements within China herself. That county’s complex problems were discussed at an historic meeting, pictured above, between Mashal Chang Kai-shek, Chinese Generalissimo, Mr. Churchill, and President Roosevelt, in Africa. The need fir modern arms and equipment for China was the most forcibly stressed subject brought to the discussion by the Marshal.
