The intention to operate . on Pell Mell for a runture was not proceeded With, and the Man’s Pal gelding has been turned out. It is doubtful whether he will race again, which is bad luck for his owner, Mr. S. J. Newland, of Wellington, and for the trainer, P. H. Reardon. Pell Mell is a four-year-old gelding by Man's Pal from Pelmet, by Limond, and was sold to Mr. Newland at the Hay dispersal sale last Easter for 700 guineas.
