PIGEON FLYING
WANGANUI CLUB RACE The Wanganui Pigeon Club recently held a flock and a yearling championship race from Ashburton, an airline of 322.3 miles. The yearling championship resulted: L. Head’s entry, 1049.2yds per min., 1; T. R. Roskrug’s entry, 1049.09yd5, 2; E. A. Carvell’s entry, 1047.9yd5, 3. Flock Race: T. R. Roskruge’s entries were placed first, fourth and fifth. E. A. Carvell’s entry \was second, and L. Head’s entry third. The club hampered for Whangarei last night.
