Three women from the Hamilton district have been selected for training as policewomen and left for the training depot last week. Inspector G. B. Edwards, who selected, described the candidates as being of a fine type, who should do well in the calling they have adopted. He added that he had no advice that policewomen would be stationed in the Hamilton area.
