GIRAUD AND LIBERATION COMMITTEE
Recd: 9 p.m. London, Nov. 16. General Giraud, after the National Committee's reshuffles last month, offered to resign, but withdrew his offer yesterday after receiving assurance from the committee that his conditions governing future relations between the Army and the committee would be approved. The British United Press Algiers correspondent, reporting this, adds that General Giraud did not expect the committee to remove him from participation in political affairs.
