Ross, of the Wanganui Fire Brigade. yesterday, when referring to the number of motorists who had driven their vehicles over hoses lying across roadways at fires. Mr. Ross pointed out that the matter was a serious breach of the city by-laws, which read: “No person sh»'l drive or cause to be driven any vehicle, or motor-car, or other conveyance, over any hose belonging to, or being used by. the Fire Brigade either in extinguishing fire or at fire drill."
