MRS. DREAVER’S TASK

(PA.) Auckland, Nov. 15. Replying to a question nt her conference with the Whangarei Women’s War Service Auxiliary, Mrs. M. M. Dreaver said she had'volunteered to act as honorary liaison officer between the Government and the National Service Department. An experienced person was required, and she had taken the position as her war effort. She did not. receive a penny for her services. Mrs. Dreaver said Ihe farmers' daughters working on their fathers' properties could join the land girls, receiving the same advantages in clothing and equipment. During her tour, Mrs. Dreaver has spoken al various centres and interviewed women's organisations and farmers.
