NEW RUSSIAN OFFENSIVE I Recd. 8.3 C p.m. London, Nov. 14. The Russians opened the expected greet new offensive between zz.orozhe and the area north-north-west oi Krivoi Rog, says Berlin radio. The Russians brought up 30 divisions for the attack. The radio added:— "The Red Army scored a number oi local penetrations tor which they had to pay dearly. Battles were still raging late to-night." A supplementary Russian communique says that ever '4OOO Russian citizens who were being driven away to forced labour in Germany were liberated when the Red Army captured Chepovichi. During the German counter-attacks in the Faslov area 500 Germans were killed. A Russian unit south of Ryechitsa captured a series of strongly fortitied places and killed 1500 Germans.
