ON LICENSED PREMISES

Charged in the Magistrate’s Court, Wanganui, yesterday, with being found on the licensed premises of the Provincial Hotel during closing hours, Henry Lloyd, who did not appear, was fined £2, with costs 10s, by Mr. J. H. Salmon. S.M. Senior-Sergeant F. Culloty said lie visited the Hotel in question at 6.17 p.m. on October 16, and while there saw defendant enter the premises. He said he had come to sec somebody, but could not give a satisfactory explanation.
