FORMIDABLE BRITISH WEAPON ; , Recd. 7.3 p.m. London, Oct. 14. . i A formidable British weapon, 1 ' known as the rocket pistol, has come ; off the secret list. It is known that at one period alone it destroyed or damaged at least 20 enemy planes end saved 35 British ships from being ’ damaged during aerial attack. The pistol fires a rocket which draws a ■ cable and parachute an incredible ' distance into the air bearing wire coils which either entangle the at- • J tacking dive-bomber or force it to lake evasive action.
