MR. C. V. SMITH TO SPEAK AT QUARTERLY LUNCHEON Mr. C. V. Smith, Dunedin, who is president of the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Association, will speak at the quarterly luncheon meeting of the Wanganui Chamber of Commerce to be held in the Savage Club Hall next Thursday. The subject of his address will be “The Future of New Zealand Industry," which covers rehabilitation, immigration, import control, the Atlantic Charter and other matters. Mr. Smith is a fluent and entertaining speaker, and the executive committee of the Wanganui Chamber will be glad if those members who intend to be present and who have not yet replied to the invitation will do so by Monday next.
