NEW ZEALAND KEPT IN HEADLINES R cd. 6.30 p.m. London, Aug. 31. New Zealand has bben receiving unusual prominence in British newspapers recently, due to the coming election, also to the visit of Mrs. Roosevelt. Interest in the Dominion s election is awakened by those of Eire, South Africa, and Australia, while the Daily Mail is publishing Mrs. Roosevelt s column, “My Day .’’ in which she tells how over the radio she “thanked these hospitable people who have been so kind to our men stationed here for taking them in their homes and doing so much to make them feel at home. Our men seem to have accepted the hospitality in the way it hrbeen offered. After a good meal they helped to wash the dishes just as th y would at home, and they have made friends.”
