ESCAPED DANES

POSSIBLE GOVERNMENT Recd. 6 p.m. Rugby, Aug. 30. Mr. H. L, H. de Kauffmann' Danish Minister at Washington, said to-day that the names of the Danes who escaped to Sweden may prove significant. He said he believed Germany was trying to minimise the situation. He anticipated that those aboard several of the ships which escaped will soon produce some direct infoimation. Observers deduce from Mr. de Kauffmann’s statements that the nucleus of a possible Government in exile may have reached safety.— 8.0.W.
