TO STOf' OUR ELECTRICITY It is not takinq daring raiders to i break our electricity supply as the R.A.F. broke the German supply by dam-blasting. We are doing it day Iby day. surely and swiftly, by placing upon production of power plants an intolerable burden a burden under which machinery will eventually crack unless eased. ’ It can only be eased by reducing unessential electricity consumption . . . for war industries and camps must have all the power they need. Do it voluntarily—it's the easiest way out. Don’t run your heater (hiring daytime, don’t use a radiator unless you have to . . . don’t run your cooker at a higher heat or a moment longer than necersary. When you finish . . . switch off. —lssued by the Electricity Controller, Public Works Department.
