Rugby. Aug. 11. Among weapons that would have given the Germans a nasty surprise ii they had attempted to invade Britain at any time in the past four years is a six-pounder twin coast artillery gun. Its primary purpose is for dealing With light coastal motor boats ano ®na!l torpedo boats. Its powers were proved two years •go. when ail eight Italian torpedocarrying craft attacking Valetta Harbour, Malta, were destroyed, as were five E-boats. —8.0.W.
