The turnover of their combined undertakings reached a new record total of £ 13,338,680. Altogether some 405,600 head of pigK. bobby calves and cull cattle were handled on owners’ account, for ■which final payments are in course of preparation. For pigs supplied fr'jm November 1 to May 31 on all grades and classes of supply a final payment of 5-Bd. per lb. has been declared. In addition, shareholders whose supply is qualified by shares will, on the full neaeon’s i.e., June 1. 1942. to May--31. 1943, "receive a cash shareholders’ bonus of l-Bd. per lb. plus a credit on the unpaid balance of shares of a similar amount, or 1-Bd. per lb. In view of the actual nhortrge of pig meats for local and armed forces’ requirements, a strong appeal is made to its shareholders for increased production.
