REGENT THEATRE
The popular comedian, Joe E. Brown, creates many laughs in his latest film, “Shut My Big Mouth,” which screens at the Regent Theatre finally to-day. Thrilling War Drama “A Yank in Libya,” a war drama tn which romance and laughter are cleverly woven into a fine story of thrilling adventure in Libya, will be the chief attraction on the new programme at the Regent Theatre tomorrow. The plot centres around an American newspaper corresnondent in Libya who is portrayed by Walter Woolf King. He uncovers a Nazi plot for an uprising of Arab tribes. Pursued by an Arab sheik. King finds refuge with Joan Woodbury, who is in the British Intelligence, and as the Arabs are about to break in she helps him to escape. In his eagerness to get the story to the United States, King has overlooked the., fact that he British Consul in this desert town and several British Intelligence agents are av. ar of thi Nazi plot and are biding their time to stage a coup. Their efforts to ston him orovide many exciting and humorous situations. “Rubber Racketeers,” the associate featur \ is an exciting adventure story, starring Rochelle Hud;on end Ricardo Cortez.
