SENTENCES ANNOUNCED (P.A.) Napier, May 20. In the Supreme Court to-day, for negligent driving of a lorry, causing death, William Clarence Carson, of Dannevirke. was fined £25, in default three months’ hard labour. Albert Thomas Smith was placed on probation for two years on four charges of making a false declaration under birth and death legislation.
