GOERING’S AIR MINISTRY

Recr. 8 p.m. New York, March 20. The Stockholm corresnondent of the New York Tipies says that one of the “churches” the R.A.F. hit in the raid on March 1 was Goering’s Air Ministry. at the corner of the Wilhelmstrasse and the Leipziegerstrasse. when an aerial torpedo wrecked at least 200 rooms destroying valuablearchives and card indexes, the loss of which is certain to disorganise the Ministry’s services. Other devastated districts of Berlin are still roped off, with glass and debris lying about. Broken water mains and telephones wore not repaired owin'* - to lack of labour.
