FATE OF THREE MEN IN A LAUNCH

Recd. 6.30 p.m. Sydney, March 2L A tragic solution of the mystery of the disappearance of three men in a launch last August was provided by the finding of a letter in a sealed jam jar on Avoca Beach, which is about 50 miles north of Sydney. The letter revealed the tortures of the men, who were adrift for five days without food or water, and contained the will of the owner of the launch, written At sea, the signature being witnessed by his two companions.
