'NEW SEASONS DEFINED

The 143 seasons for taking opossums in various acclimatisation districts are defined in a supplement to the New Zealand Gazette published recently. Details are:—

Hawera Acclimatisation District.— From noon on June 1 to noon on September 1. Waimarino Acclimatisation District: From noon on June 1 to noon on September 1. Wanganui Acclimatisation District: From noon on July 20 till noon on September 1. Wellington Acclimatisation District: From noon on July 20 till noon on September 20.
