FINALS FOR SILVER BUTTONS The finals of the New Zealand Croquet Council's Silver Buttons was played on the Gonvilie courts on Thursday. The weather was line and the courts last. Results: — A Grade.—D. McClymont 26. beat F. L. Harrison 11; Mrs. A. Drummond beat Mrs. C. H. Downey, 26-24; D. McClymont (Wanganui Club) beat Mrs. Bourgeois, 26-22. D. McClymont won the final from Mrs. Drummond, 26-7. B Grade.—Mrs. E. M. Hammond won from Mr. F. Hill, 26-9; Mrs. H. R. Ogg beat. Miss J. Langton, 26-22; Mrs. H. E. Owles beat Mrs. Hammond, 26-181; Mrs. Ogg won from Mrs. Hamer, 26-19. In the final play-off Mrs. Ogg (Durie Hill Club) beat Mrs. Owles, 26-13. C Grade. —Mrs. Gower beat Mrs. K. Liggins, 26-16; Mrs. T. Noble beat Mrs. J. Glover, 26-20; Mrs. A. Stantiall beat Mrs. Noble, 26-18; Mrs. G. Bergin beat Mrs. Gower, 26-19; Mrs. A. Stantiall (Marton Club) won the final from Mrs. G. Bergin, 26-17.
