SIZE OF WHEAT SACKS
REDUCTION EXPERIMENTS. (P.A.) Christchurch, March 19. A committee has been formed with the object of reducing the size and weight of the sacks used for wheat and other produce. It was stated in Christchurch that this was a result of the recent mooting of representatives lof farmers, millers, merchants, waterside workers, shipping and other in|t erests. | A good deal of progress is reported Io have boon made. 'Various sizes and shapes of sacks have been produced lor testing, and experiments will be carried out in the next few days.
