LOSS BY STRIKES IN U.S.A
New York. March 17. The United Sates Assistant Secretary of Labour. Mr. Ralph Bard, reported that 432,000 man-hours were los* in the United States in 1942 because of strikes, in contrast to 167,700,000 man-hours lost because ol absenteeism alone in December.
