OBITUARY

MR. P. W. BANKS The death has occurred of Mr. Percy Vvalter Banks, a well-itnohii Wellington resident and a keen supporter of cricket and Association football. Born In London in 1878, he came to New Zealand about 34 years ago, since when he had been for the greater part of the time, until resigning on account of ill health, on the staff of the Government Printing Office, where he was an overseer. As an old Association football player, he took an active part in the administrative side of the game, and was at one time a member of the Wellington Football Association’s management committee. He is survived by his wife and one son.
