Appointments and resignations of teachers were confirmed as follows as to the monthly meeting of the Wanganui Education Board yesterday:— Resignations: Teachers leaving board’s service: Miss E. G. Cutten, relieving staff; Mrs. L. N. Lloyd, relieving staff; Miss M. M. MacDougall, assistant-mistress, Patea; Miss T. Hammond, assistant,-mistress, Marton D.H. (war appointment); Miss M. Holdsworth, assistant-mistress, Manchester Street; Mr. D. K. Beard, add. assistant-master, Wanganui East; Miss J. M. Willis, relieving staff. Teachers appointed to other positions in board’s service: Mr. A. E. Mills, headmaster, Rangiwahia; Miss E. E. Speedy, sole teacher, Taumatatahi. Appointments.—Miss M. F.
