WELCOMED BY CHAIRMAN

SCHOOL MEDICAL OFFICER

A welcome to Dr. M. Haddon, recently appointed resident school medical officer at Wanganui, was extended by the chairman, Mr. E. F. Hemingway (Patea) at a meeting of the Wanganui Education Board yesterday.

“I can assure Dr. Haddon that we are only too happy to co-operate with her,” said Mr. Hemingway. He added that Dr. Haddon was attached to the Department of Health and that there were many ways in which the board could assist her. She could also help the board by drawing attention to matters at schools which required attention.
