RAGLAN COUNTY DEBATE. Hamilton, March 13. The proposal of the Raglan County Council to abolish ridings and separate rate accounts, brought forward for confirmation at the monthly meeting at Ngaruawahia yesterday, was opposed by a large deputation of ratepayers from five ridings. The council accepted an amendment to postpone confirmation for a month in order to give ratepayers an apportunity to debate the subject. The confirming meeting to be held on April 9. ’
