DAILY INTERCESSION
“And therefore will the Lord wait, that He may be gracious unto you; "And therefore wil He be exalted, that He may have mercy upon you.”
O God, there are given to us exceeding great and precious promises that by them we might be partakers of Thy nature. In the days of trouble teach us to wait on Thee that these promises may shine more clearly and be more certain to our hearts. In the midst of trials satisfy us with the goodness of Thy House and strengthen our souls in the hope of Thine everlasting kingdom. Though the vision tarry, give us patience to wait for it. Teach us that the night is the preparation for the day, and that Thou waitest that Thou mayest be gracious unto us. Lord, make us strong in the faith that after long darkness the day will break and the shadows flee away. Amen.
