INCREASING R.A.F. ASSETS

Recd. 6 p.m. London. March 5. The Air Minister. Sir Archibald Sinclair, declared to-day that the material assets of the R.A.F. would be increased during this year in number and quality. He was sneaking at the opening of London’s "Wings for Victory' Week, and he said that air oower was the key to victory. For that in part we depended on the savings of the ordinary man and woman an<| our willingness to go without non-essentials. Referring to the Americans, he said: “We count ourselves lucky in our companions. The more Americans that come, the better for us and the worse for the Germans."
